Special Economic / Financial Zones (SEZ/SFZ) Category

The SEZ/SFZ category is tailored for foreign investors or professionals residing in designated Special Economic or Financial Zones in Malaysia. This category offers additional tax incentives, lower entry requirements, and flexibility in financial commitments compared to the main MM2H tiers. Ideal for entrepreneurs, digital nomads, and high-skill talent.

WHO CAN APPLY?

To be eligible for the Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H) program, applicants must meet the following conditions:

✔ Minimum age: 25 years old and above

✔ Passport validity: Must be valid for more than 2 years at the time of application

✔ Health & character: Must be in good health and have no criminal record

✔ Must undergo a basic medical check-up in Malaysia

✔ Must purchase medical insurance from a Malaysian insurance provider

✔ Minimum stay requirement: 90 days per year(For applicants under age 50, this requirement can be met collectively by the main applicant and accompanying family members)

✔ No offshore income or liquid asset requirement

✔ Family inclusion: Allowed to bring spouse and children under 21 years of age

✔ Visa validity: 5 years, renewable for another 5 years (total up to 10 years)
